I was born in Moldova and moved to America when I was two years old. I went to University of Southern California for undergrad where I majored in English and was on the USC Mock Trial team. I graduated in three years and I coached USC Mock Trial and worked for a civil rights attorney for a year after graduating. I had a 3.8 GPA and a 173 LSAT but I wanted to work with Ann to make sure my application stood out and was framed in the right way and I was doing everything I could be doing to be a competitive applicant. Ann worked with me from before taking the LSAT through being wait-listed and was a support system and full of helpful suggestions the entire time. I was admitted to many top schools with scholarships and ended up choosing between a full ride at UCLA, a half scholarship at NYU and Columbia. I chose Columbia where I will be a 2L in the fall.
