Hi Ann,
I got some crazy good news tonight and received my acceptance to Georgetown! The letter came in a deceivingly small envelope and I was prepared to rip off the band-aid of rejection and was shocked to see the word “Congratulations!”. As you know, my numbers were well below their medians and Georgetown was a long shot.
This outcome wouldn’t have been possible without you and your team. Please let them know how grateful I am for their edits. I can’t thank you enough for working with me for months, reading and editing countless drafts, and having the patience to deal with my every question no matter how small it was. I received a personal note from the Dean that he enjoyed reading my personal statement, and it reminded me of how you were unafraid and unapologetic when rejecting my first 100 attempts. Now I couldn’t be more grateful. You were right (of course) that law school applications aren’t just a numbers game, and I’m so happy that I decided to work with you.
Again, I can’t express my tremendous gratitude to you and your team.
Thank you so much,
Jay
