  1. This is largely a rhetorical rant, but I’d be interested to know your opinions on the issue. At what point are the law schools going to start keeping tuition under control? It’s well and good to caution students about debt, but when the schools charge $40K+ per year in tuition, not to speak of living expenses, it’s to be expected that even many prudent students will end up with six figures of debt. At what point are the schools going to step up and take responsibility for their role in that, especially since even in the economic boom years there never were that many Biglaw jobs to go around for non-T14 graduates?
