Brian — A college athlete who didn’t get serious about academics until late in the game. After working with Ann to craft a resume and personal statement that showed his maturity and drive, Brian was admitted off the wait lists at UCLA and USC on the day he moved to San Francisco to attend UC Hastings. He chose UCLA. His brother, Matt, also worked with Ann and is currently attending the University of San Diego School of Law (despite an LSAT score below the 25th percentile for that school). |

Scott — Scott earned his bachelor degree after creating and selling a very successful company. In his 40s with 4 children, Scott came to Ann for expertise and guidance through the law school application process. He will be attending The University of Michigan School of Law in the fall. Hear what Scott has to say about his amazing success rate working with Ann.
Kim — In her 40s with a 20+ year career in broadcasting, Kim pursued a lifelong dream to attend law school. With a discouraging LSAT history but diversity and solid academic credentials, Ann helped Kim highlight her life experience and show a connection between her professional experiences and her drive to attend law school. Ann spent a lot of time talking with Kim about schools and her personal interactions with the admission officers and faculty at the schools. It paid off! Kim is attending a law school that was on her “dream list!”
Maria — Maria found a story about Ann in a magazine and called to talk about her situation. Despite low undergraduate grades in an artistic field and a mediocre LSAT, Ann helped Maria craft personal statements and diversity statements highlighting her significant work experience and cultural perspectives. "Considering my low GPA and average LSAT, I was prepared not to be accepted anywhere. Instead, I ended up being acecpted to 6 out of 8 schools, and all with scholarships!"
Paul — Paul applied to the same set of schools last year on his own and this year with Ann's help. It paid off!! This year he received almost $200,000 from three schools which had rejected him the year before, and one top 14 school actually mentioned how good his personal statement was, as compared to the previous year.
Sara — Sara met Ann at a Phi Alpha Delta presentation at her undergraduate college. Despite Sara’s great GPA and good LSAT score, she lacked the real-world experience so desired by top law schools. Ann first encouraged her to rethink the list of schools she would apply to (reaching higher!), and then helped guide Sara in drafting a personal statement to supplement her scores and demonstrate that her skills extended beyond academics despite the fact that she planned to attend law school immediately after undergraduate graduation. With Ann’s guidance, Sara was admitted to eleven schools (mostly top ten law schools, many where she had never thought acceptance was possible). Sara is currently attending Boalt Hall, UC Berkeley Law School.
Judd — A college student who neglected his studies (as demonstrated by a UGPA under 2.5) but a solid test taker, Ann helped Judd identify people who would draft effective letters of recommendation, build a resume that highlighted how he spent his time in college, and craft a personal statement that showed he was smarter than his grades let on. Judd was admitted to several great law schools, offered scholarships, and chose to attend George Mason University for his 1L year. After his first year, Judd worked with Ann on transfer applications and he is currently attending Northwestern University.
Veronica — A small town girl who moved to a big city and worked at a law firm through her undergraduate years, Veronica needed Ann’s help to articulate her independence and maturity despite her age. She is currently attending the University of Idaho. "I got into my #2 school with a half tuition scholarship!"
Sonya — With a lackluster GPA of 2.9 and a mid-150s LSAT score, Sonya came to Ann distraught about her options. By really probing her background and passions, Ann helped Sonya present the best version of herself and craft a theme to her application based on cultural values. When Sonya struggled to balance her commitments during fall of her senior year, Ann encouraged her to plow ahead by providing a specific, goal-oriented timeline for submitting applications. Sonya will be attending Hofstra University School of Law on scholarship in Fall 2009.

Sheila — Sheila brought diverse life experience to the table and experience running her own small business. Her numbers were very low, but she was open to a flexible schools list and just wanted to be given a shot. She chose to attend Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Shirley — With a solid undergraduate record and experience working for a big NYC law firm, Shirley had high hopes that were dashed by her LSAT score. However, she worked with Ann to select schools and learned there is a lot more to law school than the rankings. She is currently attending Boston College Law School.
Peter — Peter applied to law school while serving on active duty in the military. His LSAT wasn't spectacular, and his grades were fine but not stand-out, but Ann felt he was under-shooting on his schools list. After developing a personal statement that really demonstrated his leadership experience, Peter ended up gaining admission to some very competitive schools with an LSAT score well below the 25th percentile for those schools. He is currently attending Fordham Law.
Naomi — Applied to law school in her 50s after an extensive career in hotel management and spearheading a non-profit organization benefiting victims of domestic violence. With an undergraduate GPA more than 30 years old and an LSAT score that she thought would keep her out of law school altogether, Naomi called Ann for help. Ann provided guidance about schools that would most appreciate and value her experiences and helped Naomi build applications that demonstrated her strengths. Naomi was admitted to several schools and is currently attending Valparaiso.
