The Law School Expert Team

Led by Ann Levine, president and chief consultant, we are a tight group of four approachable, accessible, always-at-the ready women (who also happen to be moms). We are completely dedicated to being a resource, support, and "secret weapon" for each Law School Expert client. To be a member of the Law School Expert team, there are certain minimum criteria in addition to being the best in the field: lightning fast response times by email and phone (pretty much no matter the day or time), a belief that a job is not just a job but also something to enjoy and feel that you are truly helping someone through a stressful and difficult time, and an eagerness to figure out the right solution for each individual client rather than apply a cookie-cutter philosophy.

Our Philosophy:

  1. We are here to help by giving the best advice for your particular situation, by being available to you, and by telling you the truth even when it's not what you want to hear.

  2. We strive to give you solutions, rather than simply identifying problems.

  3. We tell you the things worth worrying about, and how to make up for things that are outside of your control.

  4. We treat you as a valuable client and you will feel that you are our #1 priority.

  5. We feel personally invested in your success, and you will feel this in all of our interactions with you.

  6. We will enjoy the experience of getting to know you, and we want you to enjoy working with us even though it's not the most fun time of your life.

  7. We want you to be so happy with your experience that you happily provide us with a testimonial for our website next year.

  8. We aim for perfection.

Meet the Team:

Ann Levine Ann Levine is a prominent law school admission consultant who has helped 1,500+ applicants nationwide achieve their admission goals since founding Law School Expert in 2004. Ann is the person who picks up the phone when you first call us. Don't be shocked by this. She is the front line of Law School Expert. When not helping worthy people get into law school (by consulting, writing blog posts at LawSchoolExpert.com or USNews.com, or interviewing interesting people on her Blog Talk Radio Show), Ann is probably playing tennis (poorly), volunteering for the Anti-Defamation League, or spending time with her husband (an attorney) and their two daughters (and the daughters' American Girl dolls) in their home town of Santa Barbara, CA. Jocelyn Glantz Jocelyn Glantz has been working in the world of law school admissions for 14 years. She met her husband as a first year law student, and later returned to her alma mater, Brooklyn Law School, to work in the Admissions Office. After deciding it was time to start a family, she made the big move north to Chappaqua, New York. Eager to keep her connection to the admissions world, Jocelyn immediately began consulting for Kaplan. Over the next five years, she worked with hundreds of applicants using her expertise to help her clients shape essays that would have an impact. She ventured out on her own before connecting with Ann. Jocelyn has continued to perfect her niche guiding individuals through the law school (and college) application process. When she isn't spending her time with clients, she can usually be found baking cookies and other treats with her three daughters. Read more...

Kamila Storr Kamila Storr was born and raised in Czechoslovakia (now Czech Rep.) and relocated to San Francisco as a new bride. Two kids and almost two decades later, she is happily ensconced in Santa Barbara, although she still claims to miss the seasons. She is married to Brian, probably one of the most patient and kind men ever born. Kamila majored in English at Charles University in Prague and her first job was translating and interpreting on a big international banking project. She also worked in the book production departments of McGraw-Hill in San Francisco and Addison Wesley Longman in Menlo Park, CA, and later as a freelance textbook proofreader. She wishes she could declare marathon running and bungee jumping as her hobbies, but they are really knitting and reading. She does like to hike, though. In hindsight, Kamila is grateful for having grown up behind the Iron Curtain as it gives her an uncommon perspective on history and a personal understanding of the immigrant experience and cultural diversity in general.

Elizabeth Redman Elizabeth Redman traveled the world building brands in the footwear and apparel industry for 15 years before landing in Santa Barbara. She never dreamed this sleepy little town by the ocean would hold her future, but it did. Here she met and married her prince charming, Patrick, and moved from the footwear industry to the software industry to stay closer to home and start a family. Now, when Elizabeth is not chasing an active toddler, she spends her time working on her laptop, thrilled to be home most of the 365 days a year. Elizabeth has an MBA with a focus in marketing that she puts to use for Law School Expert, working to build the brand.
